Riyadh Air signs two MoUs to enhance guest experience

Riyadh: Riyadh Air, the new national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has signed two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Saudi Coffee Company and Milaf Global Food Company.
The agreements will integrate authentic Saudi coffee and premium dates into the airline’s onboard and lounge experiences, reflecting the Kingdom’s traditions of hospitality.
Through this partnership, guests will enjoy signature Saudi coffee blends sourced from the high-altitude regions of Jazan, Abha, and Al Baha, areas renowned for their cultivation. Riyadh Air will also offer a curated range of premium Saudi date varieties, including Ajwa, Sukari, and Segai, handpicked from the Kingdom’s 34 million palm trees, with only the top 5–7% of the harvest selected for serving.
In addition, Milaf Global Food Company will introduce Milaf Cola, crafted from natural date extract, which will be served on board Riyadh Air flights. Together, these offerings aim to deliver authentic cultural experiences while aligning with Vision 2030’s goals for tourism and hospitality.
Adam Boukaidia, Chief Financial Officer of Riyadh Air, said, “These partnerships enrich our guest experience with genuine cultural touches and create lasting value through collaboration with PIF companies. By weaving Saudi coffee and date-based products into every stage of the journey, we offer a welcome that is uniquely Saudi.”
Bander Alqahtani, CEO of Milaf Global Food Company, described the collaboration as “a gateway to the world with a local vision and global ambition,” while Khalid AbuTheeb, CEO of Saudi Coffee Company, added, “This partnership is not just about coffee; it is a cultural heritage that reflects the Kingdom’s authenticity and excellence in hospitality.”
With these collaborations, Riyadh Air positions itself as an ambassador of Saudi traditions, offering travelers an immersive cultural experience from lounge to cabin.
