DAE, United ink leaseback deal for 10 Boeing 737-9 jets

Dubai: Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has announced a new purchase and leaseback arrangement with United Airlines involving 10 Boeing 737-9 aircraft.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place between August 2025 and February 2026, under long-term lease agreements.
Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, stated, “This agreement builds on our recent deal involving an Airbus A321neo leased to United, underscoring our ongoing investment in the North American aviation market. We extend our congratulations to United on their continued growth and look forward to deepening our collaboration.”
The Boeing 737-9, part of the 737 MAX series, is engineered for greater fuel efficiency, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced passenger comfort. Compared to previous-generation aircraft, it offers a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
DAE’s portfolio includes ownership and management of 750 aircraft globally, with 225 sourced from Boeing. The company plans to grow its fleet further in response to rising global aviation demand.
