Menzies Aviation, a prominent service partner for global airports and airlines and an Agility company, has disclosed the acquisition of a 50% stake in Jardine Aviation Services Group (JASG) from Jardine Matheson. In collaboration with China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC), this joint venture underscores Menzies’ sustained investment in the region, reinforcing its commitment to supporting Hong Kong’s aviation sector recovery and expanding its influence in Asia.

JASG, a distinguished ground handling services provider with a history dating back to 1946 at Hong Kong International Airport, has played a pivotal role in the development of Hong Kong as a prominent global aviation hub.

Following the completion of the transaction, Jardine Airport Services Limited will undergo rebranding as Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited, joining forces with the world’s largest aviation services company, operating in over 255 locations across more than 60 markets on six continents.

Menzies acknowledges the expertise of the JASG team and is committed to fostering staff development as it strengthens its presence in Hong Kong and expands across the region. This move builds upon Menzies’ well-established partnerships in the region, including a longstanding collaboration with CNAC at Macau International Airport since 1994, and operations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
