Paris Air Show Unveils List Of Exhibit Aircraft
The Paris Air Show, which will be held at Paris-Le Bourget Airport (LBG) from June 19 and 25, has the attention of avgeeks and representatives of the aviation sector all over the world. This event is well renowned for featuring significant announcements on aircraft orders and advancements. For instance, it was suggested that Airbus will introduce the A220-500 during this year’s show (albeit the OEM has disputed those reports).
However, the list of aircraft that will be on static display and conduct flights over the seven-day event is one of the most eagerly anticipated elements of the Paris Air Show. This list was made public on Wednesday via the Paris Air Show’s official website.
Airbus
The European OEM will display 14 aircraft during the Paris Air Show. Airbus’ list includes three mock-ups of the EURODRONE, the VSR 700, and the H-125 M. The manufacturer will also display five helicopters, the H-125 ECUREUIL, the H-225 M Caracal, the H-175, the H-145, and the H-160.
Nonetheless, the main offer by Airbus will obviously be the display of four jets, the A321XLR, the A350-900, the A321LR, and the A330 MRTT. The A321XLR and the H-160 will do flight shows on both the trade and general public days, without a doubt attracting the public.
Embraer & ATR
The Brazilian manufacturer is set to bring five aircraft to the event. It will have two C 390 Millenium (one of which will operate a flight during the trade days), two Embraer E 195-E2s (one operating a flight during the trade days), and one EMB-314E Super Tucano.
The European manufacturer ATR will also display two ATR 72-600 aircraft during the event. One of these turboprops will do show flights during the Trade Days.
Qatar Airways
The only confirmed airline at the Paris Air Show is Qatar Airways which will bring three aircraft, one Airbus A319, one A350-1000 (we have come a long way from the Qatar-Airbus debacle of the last two years, right?), and a G-700 Gulfstream.
eVTOLs present at the event
With the technology evolving at an incredible rate, visitors at the Paris Air Show will be able to see some of the new electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft that will fill the skies in future years.
For instance, Volocopter will bring its Volocity – VC200, which will operate flights during the show. Lilium will also display its eVTOL, as well as Embraer’s EVE, Archer (with its eVTOL Midnight), and EHANG (showing its EHANG 216).
