Camero-Tech’s Xaver-400 system saves lives in Turkey earthquake disaster, wins Innovation Journey at IDEX 2023 UAE

Beyond the Wall- For the first time, military forces, law enforcement agencies and first responders can step beyond any wall barriers as they are able to detect live objects from a long range of over 100 meters.
Among a handpicked selection of thousands of the most innovative products on display throughout IDEX and NAVDEX, the Innovation Journey has featured exclusively Camero- Tech’s Xaver- 400 system.
Launching its ground-breaking Xaver-400 system, Camero-Tech, a member of the SK Group and a global leader and pioneer in the development, production, and marketing of pulsed-based UWB micro-power radar ‘Through Wall Imaging’ systems, is able to detect live objects behind walls at distances of over 100 meters. In a hostile situation, this new capability offers a revolutionary operational advantage.
These systems are a part of the company’s overall search and rescue kit, which is fully equipped with Camero-STTW Tech’s radar imaging systems, allowing search and rescue teams to detect live objects in disaster scenarios like earthquakes, tsunamis, and fires. These systems can detect the breathing of living people buried under layers of debris or rubble, even without movement.
Shaul Sharabant, Sales and Marketing Manager “The Xaver- 400 is a radar- based device that provides mission- critical live and static objects with very low power of transmission- lesser than our cell phone. The system has been sold over 50 countries and this a valuable device for the tactical and the mascot team. They provide them a deeper feature of information that includes location of the target, height and enabling real- time visual data and data recording/playback in multiple locations within the disaster area. This was also used to locate and rescue survivors following the 2017 earthquake in Mexico and the recent Turkey earthquake disaster.”
The system was handpicked by the IDEX AND NAVDEX 2023 as continuous effort to prove its effectiveness in its original purpose of saving lives.
