The company also decided to invest $10,000 into its fully owned subsidiary in the United States.
EaseMyTrip acquires 49% stake in Gurgaon-based private aviation company

Gurugram: EaseMyTrip, a prominent online travel agency in India, has taken a significant step into the charter aviation sector by acquiring a 49% stake in Big Charter Pvt Ltd (BCPL), a private aviation firm based in Gurgaon. The announcement was made on Monday, highlighting the company’s expansion strategy.
The decision to invest in BCPL follows a meeting of EaseMyTrip’s Board of Directors on March 24, 2025, where the proposal received in-principle approval. However, the investment is still subject to final clearance from the Board and any required regulatory or shareholder approvals, according to the company’s exchange filing.
Alongside this venture into charter aviation, EaseMyTrip’s board has also sanctioned additional investments in its international subsidiaries.
One of the key approvals includes an injection of 1,000 Brazilian Reals into Easy Trip Planners Do Brasil Ltda, its wholly owned subsidiary in Brazil. This funding aims to boost the subsidiary’s share capital, reinforcing EaseMyTrip’s presence in the Brazilian market and supporting its expansion across South America.
Additionally, the board approved a capital infusion of 50,000 Riyals into Easy Trip Planners Limited, its fully owned Saudi Arabian subsidiary. The funding is intended to enhance the subsidiary’s financial strength and help meet the rising demand for travel services in the region.
EaseMyTrip is also set to invest $10,000 in EaseMyTrip USA Inc., its subsidiary in the United States. This capital injection will increase the company’s share capital, further solidifying its foothold in the North American market.
